Interdependence Day Update

Interdependence Day – June 21st 2009 – is a global event that is being birthed on Solstice this year – just a couple weeks from now. There is no centralized or structured format for Interdependence Day and we really don’t have any 'big' event planned here at the Land of Dandarius community – we will be online part of the day and after that building a nice Solstice fire in our fire pit and enjoying the longest day of the year with deep gratitude for all of the blessings and ‘interdependent’ relations we have built birthing this project.

We plan to have a special Interdependent Project Radio broadcast on the main site as well as some other great media that we are pulling together to commemorate the event.

We of course will be envisioning a future time when the resources will be available to sponsor and participate in events but we are really settling into the ride knowing that our commitment is a long term haul and we are not at all hyper-anxious to have ‘big’ or ‘huge’ anything riding in our wake. We know we are riding the biggest transition the human species has ever undergone and that our project is playing just a small role in the action….the universe is providing everything we need to really learn and understand what it means to be ‘interdependent’ and transition to ‘sustainable living’.

We hope that those of you who have joined this network will post information and share your own ideas of how to celebrate Interdependence and we look forward to this annual solstice event growing over the years to come as we all embrace our sustainable future through interdependent living.

We just updated the site and blog with more information about what we have been up to these past weeks. We want to thank all of you for being a part of birthing this project and we look forward to weaving further dreams into reality with all of you.
